DTC assisted a customer in Costa Rica with effective warehousing and transportation operations utilising Microsoft Dynamics AX.
The customer operates a retail chain.They had many problems with their warehouse because of the nature and complexity of their business in terms of inbound and outbound activities.
The customer desired to automate warehouse and transportation operations utilising MSD AX standard functionalities. The customer had a fleet of cars dispatched to various locations around the country.

WHAT DID WE DO?
Management features were implemented
for the client, including all aspects of
warehouse operations. Data collecting
that is integrated, comprising Workflow
and process barcoding—automation and
mobile device configuration. The totality
of incoming and outgoing processes was
simplified by using the warehouse.
MSD AX procedure, as well as transportation administration and transportation management. Appointment scheduling, planning, and the route were designed to contain all of the information and the openness of their vehicle movement and operations.

WHAT WAS THE EFFECT?
Implementing full warehouse
management capabilities allowed the
customer to have total traceability of
their warehouse operations while
allowing their personnel to spend
their time efficiently and focus on
business. Also, the client has a full
route description and can efficiently
organise their trip on the
transportation front
